It’s interesting how the Democrats are taking in much more money from MANY small donors (for the most part) than the GOP is through their few large donors.

Remenber the study that used Animal Planet’s Aniaml Precinct show ? Conservatives want to see the animal abuser caught and punished,liberals wanted to see the abused animals get well and get good homes.

I think it is a combination of genetics, environment and life experience. I know liberals who have crossed over from conservatism. There are circumstances in life that cause one to re-examine everything you thought you know. That’s what brought them here. Others have been this way their whole life and believe it’s better to help your fellow women and men through a common wealth of the people.

I have wondered this myself. As the days progress, I feel that I am starting to have a more conservative attitude, yet then again it could just be my up bringing finally coming out.

I’d say people get more religious, realizing they’re getting closer and closer to death. That affects their politics, I guess, but our views of what is “liberal” and what is “conservative” change drastically over a single lifetime. My future grandchildren might call me a conservative for not embracing their decisions to marry animals or for my steadfast belief that marijuana is a safe legal drug, but cocaine shouldn’t be.

“One on One” was not very believable from a truly basketball scene standpoint but was well done otherwise. “Running Brave”, the story of 1964 Olympic 10,000M champion Billy Mills (a Native American), was excellent and he should have received more accolades for that performance.
