Every time I read or see the Republican Primary Candidates….this is all I can think of…..
I just hope Cher doesn’t give them the rights to use it for their campaigns….

No surprises here– to me, at least.
Based on their survey, NM Incite determined that the main reason people use social media is to “find and maintain” relationships with family and friends, with 88 and 89 percent of users, respectively, saying they used social networking sites for this purpose. The next most popular activity is connecting with new friends (70 percent do this), followed by accessing product reviews (68 percent) and online entertainment (67 percent). Just 16 percent said they use social media for dating and less than a third reported using social networks to find a job.

The more I see of Elizabeth Warren, the more I love her….
She is one smart – brilliant- woman and I hope to God she gets elected to the Massachusetts Senate seat so she has a platform to run for President in 2016.
I also love that she talks about the Social Contract. I was thinking I was the only one left who believed there was such a thing….
We desperately need more politicians like Elizabeth Warren…

If I wasn’t already Gay, I’m sure seeing Nancy Grace’s breasts or nipples on television would have done it….
Some things should never be inflicted on the viewing public no matter how much they deserve it.
Things like Snookie and Nancy Grace should be banned from viewing due to their negative cultural impacts on the masses.
I’ve never seen this show. I avoid Nancy Grace (aka: The Most Uptight White Woman Who Ever Lived) like the plague, so I don’t know what happened….
And I don’t want to know what happened….
And I don’t care what happened….
Just keep Nancy Grace and her TaTa’s away from me!
Nancy Grace has added two more words to the denial of her much talked about wardrobe malfunction: breast petals.
Hours after Elisabetta Canalis and her partner were sent home from this season’s “Dancing with the Stars,” Grace took to Twitter to address her nip slip incident.
Nancy Grace took to Twitter to address her wardrobe malfunction incident, citing the use of of “breast petals.”
“Evidence re my alleged ‘wardrobe malfunction which I vehemently deny: Breast Petals & industrial strength bra,” Grace wrote, attaching a photo of said petals.
The petals, also known as pasties and nipple covers and usually made from silicon or nylon tricot material, are used to provide a smoother look, in addition to or in place of a regular bra.
Despite the use of her breast petals, Grace, 51, apparently showed a little too much skin during her jive performance with partner Tristan MacManus on Monday. Still, the television host and journalist stands by her claim.
“I was not flashing anybody . . . I think that when I did that backwards thing, there was a seismic shift, but I do not think there was a wardrobe malfunction,” Grace told Access Hollywood.

My friend Kirk strikes again….
He sent this to me earlier today and I wanted to share it- especially after we discussed this on Facebook recently…
I never would have thought of this….
From Yahoo! News:
If the phone number 867-5309 sounds familiar, you’re not alone. Tommy Tutone’s 1982 hit single “8675309/Jenny” emblazoned the iconic phone number in our minds (and in our ears, thanks to its catchy chorus), and as it turns out, the number can save you some money.
Increasingly, large retailers are offering loyalty programs that are tied into your phone number: just key it in and get a discount on certain items. But if you don’t want to sign up for a new card or loyalty program and don’t want to give up your real number, just give the cashier Jenny’s number: Your local area code + 867-5309.
Why Does it work?
Many people are hesitant to give their real phone number to marketers when they sign up for an account, so they use a fake number. What fake phone number comes to mind first? You got it: good-old Jenny! Since the 80s Billboard chart topper had such a contagious hook, odds are someone else has already used it to sign up for an account — and that means you can borrow their discount.
As mentioned in the video, Becky tested this trick from New York to Hawaii, and it worked like a charm every time. Of course, we wouldn’t recommend redeeming someone else’s hard-earned membership points or freebies, but using 867-5309 for a “member’s only” break on your receipt will save you time — and money, of course.
Beyond Discounts: Serious reasons to protect your phone number
Giving your phone number out freely can be annoying down the road, but it can also be dangerous. All personal information is vulnerable to potential hackers and identity thieves — even those innocuous 10 digits we so readily hand out to friends and family.
According to security researchers and “white hat hackers” Nick DePetrillo and Don Bailey, that simple, harmless seeming string of digits can unlock a world of your personal data. With your 10 digits in tow, a hacker could use software to ferret out your full name and even track your location via GPS over a mobile network — more than enough information for a deft identity thief to wreak havoc on your accounts.

This is a hilarious video from “The Onion” that shows how a modern news story is put together…..
If you can call it news….
It’s satire but, like all good satire, has a lot of truth in it….
NSFW due to language….
Hat Tip to my friend Kirk for sending this to me!
